Calming Your Body After Trauma
A 6 session healing course for women recovering from abandonment, separation, and divorce trauma
Wednesdays, June 3-July 8
7pm-8:30pm Eastern
About the Program
When your husband leaves, it is not only your heart that hurts.
Your body can go into shock too.
You may feel anxious, triggered, exhausted, frozen, unable to sleep, or unable to stop thinking.
You may wake up at 3 a.m. with your mind racing.
You may feel stuck, even though you keep telling yourself you should be further along.
You may feel overwhelmed by memories, photos, or anything that reminds you of what happened.
This means your body is still trying to protect you, even though you’re no longer in crisis.
This course will help you learn how to calm your body, steady your emotions, and feel safer inside yourself again.
You’ll learn simple tools backed by science that will help you navigate those moments when everything feels too much.
This is not about just a temporary moment of calm. It is about learning how to support your body again and again, until calm becomes more familiar, more natural, and more available to you in daily life.
This course is for you if:
You feel stuck in grief, fear, anger, or emotional overwhelm.
You get easily triggered.
You’re obsessing.
You’re exhausted from trying to hold everything together.
You want to be supported in a safe group environment with women who understand your pain and won’t tell you to “just move on”.
In this course, you will learn how to:
Calm yourself when you are spiralling.
Understand why you are triggered by small things.
Recognize the signs that your body is going into survival mode.
Practice tapping and body-based techniques to release emotional intensity.
Create small daily habits that help your body feel safer.
Feel more grounded, steady, and connected to yourself again.
A gentle, practical, body-based course
This course brings together simple, research-based tools that support the body, mind, and emotions.
You will practice small, accessible techniques that help you calm your body in real moments of stress, fear, grief, or overwhelm.
With repetition, your body can begin to recognize calm not as a rare moment, but as a place it knows how to return to.
Join us for Calming Your Body After Trauma and begin coming back to yourself, one gentle step at a time.
